The Foundation 'Studium Generale Marcianum' has favoured the imposing reconstruction works, taken over by the Patriarchy and Patriarchs' Sminar, starting from the library, which will be officially inaugurated on May 8th by the Holy Pope.
Such Foundation has established in 2004 the Library as integrating part of its academic and pedagogical activities, with the aim of making it not only a place for study and research, but also a local reference point for who is interested in the specific bibliographic addresses which characterise it: Ecclesiology, Theology, thela Sacra Scripture, Canonic and Ecclesiastic Law, Bioethics and the history of the Patriarchy of Venice.
